Arabica / Medium roast/ Sugar cane, black tea & delicate lime
The Rwamiko washing station is located in the cold and rainy northern district of Gicumbi. This coffee, from the Bourbon varietal, grows high up at 1880 meters and is handled by approximately 1200 farmers that bring it to the washing station for further handling. The production of this high-quality coffee is part of Rwanda getting back to its feet after the violent and destructive turmoil it went through at the end of the 20th century. We’re thrilled to be part of something that is both optimistic and so tasty.
